Wharton Hockey League (WHL) Game · last updated 9 August 2026

This game is a hobby project made for the Wharton Hockey League. It has no accounts, no logins, no advertising, and no third-party trackers. This policy explains the little data it does handle.

What is stored

• A display name you choose. After your first game you're asked for a name for the leaderboard. Type anything — a nickname is fine. It's stored with your game results.
• Game results. Final score, teams played, difficulty, and which in-game players scored.
• Anonymous usage counts. Visits, whether the device is a phone or a computer, and how long games last. These are aggregate counts, not profiles. No IP addresses, no advertising IDs, no location, no cross-app tracking.
• Photos you choose to upload. Optional. If you upload a player photo it is public to everyone using the game.
• On your device only: your chosen name, your difficulty preference, and your player progress. This never leaves your device and is cleared if you clear site data or delete the app.

Player names in the game

Rosters use first names with a last initial (for example "Jackson O"), drawn from the league's published season stats. If you're a league member and want your name or photo removed, email the address below and it will be taken out.

Uploaded photos and reporting

Anyone can upload a player photo, so photos are user-generated content. Offensive, explicit, or hateful images are not allowed. Use the Report a photo link on the home screen, or email the address below, and reported photos are reviewed and removed. Please only upload photos of someone who is fine with it.

Where the data lives

Leaderboard results, usage counts, and uploaded photos are stored with Supabase, which hosts the database. The site itself is hosted by Render. Nothing is sold or shared with anyone else.

Children

The game is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their information.

Deleting your data

Email the address below to have your leaderboard entries, uploaded photos, or name removed. Deleting the app or clearing site data removes everything stored locally on your device.
